The West Marion Trojans softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Jefferson Davis County Jaguars to 4 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, West Marion moves its record to 16-3 on the year. The Trojans host St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a 3A Region 8 game on Tuesday, April 4. The Fighting Irish come into the game with a record of 12-9. St. Patrick lost 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS)
In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS) in a 3A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, April 4.
