North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Grape Pickers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Seneca for a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 11.

With the loss, Mercyhurst Prep falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lakers host Seneca (Erie, PA) to battle the Bobcats in a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Monday, April 17. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
