Spectators at Monday's league match between the North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS) and the host Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), witnessed North Pontotoc's softball squad tip Ripley by a count of 9-6.

The Vikings now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Pontotoc for a 4A Region 2 match on Tuesday, April 4. North Pontotoc will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Wheeler (Wheeler, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 9-8.
