Pennsylvania High School Softball - Peters Township can't get by Thomas Jefferson

In Monday's non-league contest, the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) softball team held off the visiting Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA), by a margin of 9-8.

With the triumph, Thomas Jefferson moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA) to play the Black Hawks in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 5. The Black Hawks come into the contest with a record of 0-4. Bethel Park lost 8-2 in their recent non-league contest against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA)

In their next game, the Indians play the Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 4 contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Peters Township will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
