Missouri High School Baseball - Kirkwood loses to Lafayette

The Lafayette Lancers crushed the visiting Kirkwood Pioneers baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Lancers now possess a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkway South for a Class 6 District 2 bout on Friday, April 5. Lafayette will face a Patriots team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Northwest (Cedar Hill, MO). The Patriots record now stands at 7-2.
Next, the Pioneers face the Holt Indians (Wentzville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 5. Kirkwood will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 3-10 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO).
