In Wednesday's league test, the host North Smithfield Northmen lacrosse squad scored a good 14-2 victory over the North Providence Cougars.

The Northmen now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tiverton for a Division 4 battle on Monday, April 8. North Smithfield will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 10-5 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) in a Division 4 battle, on Wednesday, April 10. North Providence will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
