The James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) soccer bounced the host Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA), 6-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

With the win, James River moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Three Rivers bout on Thursday, April 4. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Carroll County lost 7-0 in their recent league bout against Glenvar (Salem, VA)

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 8. Alleghany will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Bassett (Bassett, VA).
