Woodland Wolverines (Dorchester, SC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC) in a AA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, April 9. Woodland will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Warhorses enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Edisto (Cordova, SC).

The Warriors now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Battery Creek for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. Whale Branch will confront a Dolphins team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC). The Dolphins record now stands at 5-8.
