The Mater Dei Monarchs baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Corona Panthers to 3 in the Monarchs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Monarchs (3-4) will now prepare for their match against St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA). The Braves go into the match with a 7-11 record. In their last match, St. John Bosco was overwhelmed by Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA), 10-4, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Santiago (Corona, CA). The Sharks come into the challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Santiago beat Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA), 5-1, in a league challenge.
