Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA), 9-2 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cosumnes Oaks for a challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Pleasant Grove will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 17-3 league loss to Franklin (Elk Grove, CA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Sheldon falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to West (Tracy, CA) to face the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 4. The Wolfpack enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
