Cossatot River Eagles (Cove, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Danville for a 3A Region 4 challenge on Friday, April 5. Cossatot River will battle a Little Johns squad coming off a 23-0 league loss to Booneville (Booneville, AR). The Little Johns record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Blevins falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Kirby (Kirby, AR) to battle the Trojans in a 1A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, April 4. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Kirby won 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Nevada (Rosston, AR)
