The South Spartans softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Del Oro Suns to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, South moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Spartans host North (Bakersfield, CA) to clash with the Stars in a South Yosemite Mountain game on Friday, April 5. The Stars come into the game with a record of 7-11.
In their next game, the Suns clash with the South Spartans (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 1. Del Oro will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record.
