The Wellington-Napoleon Tigers routed the visiting Kingsville Tigers softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Fe (Alma, MO). The Chiefs go into the Class 1 District 8 battle with a 2-3 record.

The Tigers now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Lone Jack for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 4. Kingsville will meet a Mules squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Crest Ridge (Centerview, MO). The Mules record now stands at 4-4.
