California High School Softball - Verdugo Hills bounces Monroe

The Verdugo Hills Dons routed the visiting Monroe Vikings softball squad by a final score of 13-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Dons (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Parrots go into the East Valley battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Poly was routed by Venice (Los Angeles, CA), 13-0, in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chavez for a East Valley battle on Monday, April 8. Monroe will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.
