The St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles (Plaucheville, LA) softball routed the visiting Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA), 6-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against Tioga (Tioga, LA). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 19-6 record. In their last bout, Tioga held off Jena (Jena, LA), 6-5, in a non-league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Northside Christian for a C District 5 bout on Friday, April 5. Plainview will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Reeves (Reeves, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-7.
