The Anacortes Seahawks baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Mount Vernon Bulldogs to 0 in the Seahawks league win on Thursday.
The Seahawks now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Monday, April 7. Anacortes will clash with a Cubs team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, Mount Vernon drops to 5-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Snohomish (Snohomish, WA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 5-4. Snohomish lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA)
