The Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) baseball trounced the visiting Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM), 10-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gallup for a 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Bloomfield will clash with a Bengals team coming off a 12-11 league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Bengals record now stands at 3-11.
With the defeat, Shiprock drops to 7-8 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Aztec (Aztec, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Aztec won 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
