North Carolina High School Baseball - Clayton defeats Cleveland

The Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) baseball the visiting Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC), 5-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Comets now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Raleigh for a Greater Neuse River 4A challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Clayton will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 19-0 league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-11.

With the defeat, Cleveland drops to 8-7 on the year. The Rams host Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to clash with the Storm in a Greater Neuse River 4A challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Storm go into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Willow Spring won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against South Garner (Garner, NC)
