In Thursday's league game, the visiting Fairfax Lions baseball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the Woodson Cavaliers.

The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins go into the Patriot game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Lake Braddock was overwhelmed by McLean (McLean, VA), 10-8, in a non-league game.

Next, the Cavaliers play the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) in a Patriot game, on Tuesday, April 8. Woodson will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Stallions go into the game with a 3-6 record after their 6-1 league loss to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA).
