California High School Baseball - Rio Vista holds off Golden Sierra

The Rio Vista Rams baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Golden Sierra Grizzlies to 3 in the Rams league win on Thursday.

The Rams now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vacaville Christian for a Sierra Delta League test on Tuesday, April 8. Rio Vista will play a Falcons team coming off a 6-1 league win over Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Golden Sierra drops to 7-2 on the year. The Grizzlies host Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA) to play the Mavericks in a Sierra Delta League test on Tuesday, April 8. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 15-4. Mesa Verde lost 6-1 in their recent league test against Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA)
