The Varsity Opponent (, ) baseball got by the visiting Grace Christian Crusaders (Sanford, NC), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The now own a 45-129 record. They take the field next when they host Randolph-Clay for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. Varsity Opponent will clash with a Red Devils team coming off a 17-2 league loss to Pelham (Pelham, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-10.
With the defeat, Grace Christian drops to 11-3 on the year. The Crusaders travel to East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 9-2. East Wake Academy won 19-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC)
