Arizona High School Baseball - Washington loses to Independence

The Washington Rams baseball squad (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 15-9 in Thursday's league contest with the host Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ)

With the triumph, Independence moves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Patriots host La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ) to confront the Fighting Lobos in a non-league contest on Monday, April 7. The Fighting Lobos come into the contest with a record of 9-5. La Joya Community won 16-6 in their recent league contest against Glendale (Glendale, AZ)

The Rams now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Copper Canyon for a 5A Central Valley contest on Monday, April 7. Washington will confront a Aztecs squad coming off a 20-1 league win over Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ). The Aztecs record now stands at 7-4.
