The Pine Grove Panthers (Ripley, MS) baseball trounced the host Jumpertown Cardinals (Booneville, MS), 10-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baldwyn for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. Pine Grove will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 15-3 league win over Thrasher (Booneville, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 13-6.
With the defeat, Jumpertown drops to 4-13 on the year. The Cardinals host Ashland (Ashland, MS) to clash with the Blue Devils in a 1A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 0-7.
