Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), 11-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Minooka moves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Lockport (Lockport, IL) to battle the Porters in a non-league match on Saturday, April 5. The Porters come into the match with a record of 6-1. Lockport won 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Joliet West (Joliet, IL)
The Knights now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lyons for a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. Lincoln-Way Central will face a Lions team coming off a 7-0 league win over Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.
