The Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Starkville Academy Volunteers (Starkville, MS), 13-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Chiefs now own a 21-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pillow Academy for a MAIS 5A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Magnolia Heights will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 18-7 league win over Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-9.
With the defeat, Starkville Academy drops to 3-3 on the year. The Volunteers host Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS) to clash with the Patriots in a MAIS 5A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 8-11.
