In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Southeast Lauderdale Tigers baseball team scored a close 6-1 victory over the Neshoba Central Rockets.

The Tigers (20-1) will now prepare for their game against Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region 5 game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Kemper County was overwhelmed by Enterprise (Enterprise, MS), 20-3, in a league game.

Next, the Rockets face the Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) in a 6A Region 2 game, on Friday, April 4. Neshoba Central will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Titans enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS).
