California High School Baseball - Nipomo wallops Orcutt Academy

The Nipomo Titans baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Orcutt Academy Spartans to 2 in the Titans league win on Thursday.

The Titans now hold a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Paso Robles for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Nipomo will play a Bearcats team coming off a 1-0 league win over Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-9.

With the defeat, Orcutt Academy drops to 3-8 on the year. The Spartans travel to Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA) to play the Pirates in a CCAA - Ocean test on Tuesday, April 8. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 12-3. Morro Bay lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Exeter (Exeter, CA)
