In Thursday's league game, the host Passaic Valley Hornets baseball team scored a close 10-6 win over the Wayne Hills Patriots.
The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Ghosts go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Eastside nudged Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Patriots play the Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 4. Wayne Hills will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 0-4 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ).
