The Monte Vista Monarchs topped the host El Capitan Vaqueros volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.

With the win, Monte Vista improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Monarchs host Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to encounter the Cougars in a test on Tuesday, April 29. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 1-7.

The Vaqueros now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian for a non-league test on Monday, April 7. El Capitan will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-10.
