Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Gilroy improves its record to 5-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA) to encounter the Acorns in a test on Tuesday, April 8. The Acorns go into the test with a record of 3-4.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willow Glen for a test on Thursday, April 10. San Jose will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA). The Rams record now stands at 5-2.
