In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Nevada Union Miners volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Yuba City Honkers.

The Miners (21-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Rio Americano defeated Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA), 2-0, in a league bout.

With the loss, Yuba City drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Honkers travel to River Valley (Yuba City, CA) to clash with the Falcons in a bout on Tuesday, April 8. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 3-2.
