The Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL), 10-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Warriors now hold a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Prattville for a 7A Area 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Thompson will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL). The Lions record now stands at 4-11.
With the loss, Hillcrest moves to 4-8 on the year. The Patriots host Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL) to encounter the Stampede in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Stampede go into the challenge with a record of 3-12.
