The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Monache Marauders (Porterville, CA) and the visiting El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA), observed Monache's softball team prevail over El Diamante by a tally of 18-5.

The Marauders (10-1) will now prepare for their bout against Buchanan (Clovis, CA). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Buchanan knocked off Clovis (Clovis, CA), 22-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Miners clash with the Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, April 22. El Diamante will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
