In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-11 win over the Providence Day Chargers.

The Buccaneers (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Durham Academy (Durham, NC). The Cavaliers enter the NCISAA - Division I contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Durham Academy nipped North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC), 15-3, in a league contest.

Next, the Chargers meet the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 5. Providence Day will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 9-2 record after their 8-7 league win over Green Level (Cary, NC).
