Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) and the host Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC), saw Gray Collegiate Academy's soccer squad knock off Brookland-Cayce by a score of 2-0.
The War Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Woodland (Dorchester, SC). The Wolverines enter the non-league battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Woodland by Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC), 6-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bearcats confront the Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 battle, on Monday, April 7. Brookland-Cayce will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-10 record after their 5-1 league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC).
