Fans at Thursday's league battle between the East Valley Knights (Spokane, WA) and the host West Valley Eagles (Spokane, WA), saw East Valley's soccer squad hold off West Valley by a count of 1-0.

The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Lakeside was edged by Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA) in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane battle, on Tuesday, April 15. West Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 5-0 league loss to East Valley (Spokane, WA).
