The Union Parish Farmers triumphed over the visiting Arcadia Hornets softball squad by a count of 18-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Farmers meet the Downsville Demons (Downsville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 3. Union Parish will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Demons enter the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Forest (Forest, LA).
The Hornets (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Homer (Homer, LA). The Pelicans enter the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record.
