The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) and the visiting Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV), observed Reed's softball team get by Bishop Manogue by a final score of 1-0.

The Raiders (13-3) will now prepare for their bout against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs go into the 5A North bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Damonte Ranch was nipped by Douglas (Minden, NV), 10-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Miners battle the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a 5A North bout, on Saturday, April 5. Bishop Manogue will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 7-3 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
