In Thursday's non-league match, the host Pine Prairie Panthers softball team scored a nice 12-3 victory over the Buckeye Panthers.
The Panthers (25-3) will now prepare for their match against Anacoco (Anacoco, LA). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 21-4 record. In their last match, Anacoco was routed by Grace Christian (Alexandria, LA), 3-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 7. Buckeye will attempt to better on its 15-10 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 12-11 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA).
