The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH) and the visiting Notre Dame Academy Eagles (Toledo, OH), observed Central Catholic's softball team notch a victory over Notre Dame Academy by a final score of 14-4.

The Fighting Irish (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, University Liggett was routed by Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI), 11-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 7. Notre Dame Academy will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record.
