The Horseshoe Bend Generals softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Central of Coosa County Cougars to 1 in the Generals league win on Thursday.

The Generals now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reeltown for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 3. Horseshoe Bend will encounter a Rebels team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Valley (Valley, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Central of Coosa County moves to 0-12 on the season. The Cougars host Verbena (Verbena, AL) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 2-10. Verbena lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Autauga Academy (Prattville, AL)
