Michigan High School Softball - Churchill sneaks past Roosevelt

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Churchill Chargers softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Roosevelt Bears.
The Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Glenn (Westland, MI). The Rockets come into the Kensington Lakes - East match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Glenn nipped Richard (Riverview, MI), 10-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI) in a Downriver match, on Monday, April 7. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 13-4 non-league win over Monroe (Monroe, MI).
