The Clover Blue Eagles softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Fort Mill Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Blue Eagles league win on Thursday.

The Blue Eagles now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Hill for a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, April 4. Clover will encounter a Bearcats team coming off a 22-10 non-league win over South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Fort Mill moves to 3-6 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC) to encounter the Copperheads in a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, April 4. The Copperheads come into the battle with a record of 16-0. Catawba Ridge won 11-1 in their recent non-league battle against South Florence (Florence, SC)
