Louisiana High School Softball - Mandeville sneaks past Covington

The Mandeville Skippers softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Covington Lions to 4 in the Skippers league win on Thursday.
The Skippers now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Academy of Our Lady for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 8. Mandeville will confront a Penguins team coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Walker (Walker, LA). The Penguins record now stands at 6-11.
With the loss, Covington moves to 13-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Pearl River (Pearl River, LA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 8-10. Pearl River lost 4-3 in their recent non-league battle against St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA)
