With the triumph, Elizabethton improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Fighting Cyclones travel to Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN) to play the Patriots in a 3A District 1 game on Friday, April 4. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 2-8. Sullivan East lost 13-1 in their recent league game against Unicoi County (Erwin, TN)

The Rangers now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hampton for a non-league game on Monday, April 7. Unaka will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to West Greene (Mosheim, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
