The Franklin Quakers softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Lincoln Cardinals to 6 in the Quakers league win on Thursday.

The Quakers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ida B. Wells for a 6A Portland Interscholastic battle on Tuesday, April 8. Franklin will confront a Guardians team coming off a 13-8 league win over Lincoln (Portland, OR). The Guardians record now stands at 4-5.
