In Thursday's league match, the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish softball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Henry-Senachwine Mallards.

The Fighting Irish (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Rockets go into the non-league match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Tolono Unity gained a win over Normal Community (Normal, IL), 8-7, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Mallards battle the Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 5. Henry-Senachwine will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Boilermakers go into the match with a 4-4 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL).
