The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Heritage Academy Heroes (Maricopa, AZ) and the visiting Maricopa Institute of Technology Iron Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), observed Heritage Academy's softball team notch a victory over Maricopa Institute of Technology by a final score of 17-0.

The Heroes (8-0) will now prepare for their bout against Imagine Prep Superstition (Apache Junction, AZ). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Imagine Prep Superstition was routed by Mission Heights Prep (Casa Grande, AZ), 20-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Iron Eagles battle the Imagine Prep Storm (Surprise, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 4. Maricopa Institute of Technology will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Heritage Academy (Mesa, AZ).
