The North Hunterdon Lions overwhelmed the host Hillsborough Raiders softball squad by a count of 19-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Steinert Spartans (Hamilton, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 5. North Hunterdon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Lawrence (Lawrenceville, NJ).
The Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kent Place (Summit, NJ). The Dragons go into the Skyland - Delaware challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Kent Place was routed by Oak Knoll (Summit, NJ), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
