California High School Softball - Hilmar bested by Orestimba

April 3, 2025: Hilmar, CA 95324

The Orestimba Warriors triumphed over the host Hilmar Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) in a Trans Valley League challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Orestimba will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to East Union (Manteca, CA).

The Yellowjackets (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Wildcats enter the Trans Valley League contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Sonora was routed by St. Mary's (Stockton, CA), 8-3, in a non-league contest.
